Meeting Called to order at 7:0f p.m. by President Glen Wink.

 

SECRETARY’S REPORT

John moved to approve secretary’s report as printed, seconded by Chad.  Motion passed.

Gene moved to accept treasurers’ report, seconded by Steve.  Motion passed.

 

Shad Schmidt from the archery club in Osakis was here to request a donation to help with expenses of going to Nationals in Louisville Kentucky.  They took 3rd in the state and qualified for nationals in their 1st year of archery.

20 students going on the trip.  They have raised most of the money needed, still need money for transportation.

 

OLD BUSINESS

Þ     Banquet update from Dale, the banquet should net about 25, 226.50

Þ     Williams property, state of Minnesota is finalizing the purchase.  We have 130,000 in pledges.

 

 

NEW BUSINESS

Þ     Purchase video and 22 for firearm safety class, tabled until next meeting.

Þ     Bus drivers would like to use 4 tables on June 7th for the end of year picnic.  Barb will let Kevin know it is ok to use the tables, they need to check them out and return them.

Þ     Pheasant Release will be on Sunday the 20th of May at noon at Wittmer’s.

Þ     Barb reminded members that the fair is coming and there will be a sign up sheet at the next meeting.

Þ     John Peshek moved to donate 300.00 to the archery club’s trip subject to a letter as to who to make check out to, seconded by Chad.  Motion passed.

Þ     Scholarships were given out.  The Bill Banke scholarships went to Jenelle Lanoue and Garret Hoeper.  The Art Engelbrecht scholarship was given to Jeremy Shuck by Art.

Þ     The fishing committee will be at Heritage Fest on Friday night promoting Viking Sportsmen.

 

Gene moved to adjourn, seconded by Steve.  Motion passed.  Meeting was adjourned.

 

 

 

 

Next meeting is Thursday June 21, 2007 at the Bemo Building

Supper at 6:30 Meeting at 7:00
