Viking Sportsmen, along with the help of many volunteers, put together a day where they take senior citizens and special handicapped people out on pontoons to fish for three hours.

Each boat has two to four volunteers to provide help baiting the hooks and removing the fish that are caught.

Refreshments are provided for the participants. When the boats return to the docks the fishermen and women are transported back to the fairground for a fish fry at the 4-H building.

The number of people fed has grown each year.

Special thanks go to Arrowwood Resort, which provides the use of their grounds, docks and their pontoon boats, Bosek fisheries, who provides all the bait and also helps with the event and the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, Enforcement Officers.
